Abdeali Badlawal

Abdeali came all the way from Mumbra with his father to CSD. He was a bright student and was soon integrated to ‘Our Own school’ in Grant Road. He continued his education in the same school till he completed his SSC. As it was near CSD and he could visit when needed. Later he joined an Engineering College in Pen.

While seeking admission, he was 9^th in the handicapped quota and only 8 seats were allotted.  He thus decided to apply in the normal General category where he secured his admission.

With a degree in civil engineering, he got his first job with Premier Engineers and was posted in Alibag. On a routine visit to his office he saw a project file labelled “CSED School Project”.  He told his boss that he would like to work on this project – 'Maitri'. He is sincere, conscientious and meticulous in is work and dealt with the labourers well, the language barrier did not come in his way.
