Cochlear Implant Rehabilitation Centre (CIRC)

With the advent of Cochlear Implant surgeries in India many parents of young deaf children opt for Cochlear Implants despite the high cost.

At CSED we realize the importance of a unit to deal with habilitation of children who had undergone Cochlear Implants. With help from Cochlear India who provided training and necessary equipment CIRC was born in 2007.

Over the years with strong support from Cochlear India, CSED has been accredited as a cochlear rehabilitation centre, providing mapping facilities and post-surgery rehabilitation and AVT (Auditory Verbal Therapy).
