Mildred Falcao who we addressed as Pari, entered CSED at the age of two years eight months in February 2010, when she was just a shy and a quiet tiny tot. On the very first day, she was very reluctant to enter the class room. Later, she would just sit on the chair with a blank look and shed tears silently. Then Ms. Sarita would take her on the lap and cuddle her lovingly. But within a shortwhile, with lots of care, concern and patience she started liking the class and also responded to the sounds and took part in activities. By March, we purchased new hearing aids with Ms. Rupal’s help. We saw a drastic change in her after she started wearing the new machine. She grew cheerful and at the same time got enthusiastic and confident about listening to various sounds and learning the language. Thereafter, she made excellent progress and never looked back.

We as parents, had a dream for our child that she should be integrated as soon as possible and that dream came true in October 2011. At the age of 4+ she got admission in a CBSE school without any terms and conditions. In June 2012, Mildred started going to Notre Dame School and was admitted in Jr. KG. She is known in the school as very bright and an intelligent student. She shares a very good rapport with her teachers and friend. The best part of her is that she is very eager to learn. On a weekend she attends classical dance classes and has shown great progress.

Our sincere thanks to Ms. Amita for giving Mildred a golden opportunity to be in CSED. We also extend a deep gratitude to all the members of the staff of school especially Ms. Sarita for accepting Mildred as their own and motivating her all times. Mildred will always be grateful to CSED and will cherish the memories in her mind throughout her life. With great pride we say that Mildred is a blessing to our family.

Mildred says, she likes Ms. Sarita the most, she is the one who gave her the VOICE. She calls Clare, Rubin and Siddhi, her classmates her best friends.

Just a few days ago, she entered 1st standard with renewed enthusiasm.
